Hopefully most attorneys do not have their resume posted on the likes of Monster and other internet career websites. However, if you do have an account with Monster your private information might have been recently stolen in a hacker attack earlier this month. The BBC News article claims the hackers broke into Monster's servers to, "get hold of personal information in an attempt to make e-mails supposedly sent by recruitment firms more plausible. By getting people to open the fake e-mails and click on the attachments the thieves aimed to steal more saleable information or hijack an infected machine." So be wary of any Monster.com emails with attachments that may not actually be from Monster.
